Tim McClure
Keynote Speaker & Executive Coach

Tim McClure is a seasoned sales and marketing professional with over 25 years of extensive senior management experience, leading prominent organizations all across North America.

Tim has successfully built and managed several teams to record-breaking results throughout his storied career. Having worked with over 1,000 sales and marketing representatives, much of Tim’s success has come from his ability to galvanize teams and develop them into highly respected, winning organizations.

Early on in his career, Tim rose to the top of the professional sports marketing business as the Vice President of Starter Corporation – the world’s leading supplier of licensed apparel. He helped to catapult the brand into a household name throughout North America, working closely with the NHL, MLB, NFL, CFL, NBA and Hockey Canada.

A large part of Tim’s success came from the strong strategic alliances that he forged with some of sport’s biggest corporate partners, including Kraft, Procter & Gamble, Coca Cola, Air Canada, McDonald’s, Labatt and Molson.

In 2005, Tim joined Luxottica Group SpA – the dominating giant of the fashion eyewear industry. He led the Canadian sales team, while working closely to develop Luxottica’s vast portfolio of the world’s most renowned brands that included Ray Ban, Versace, Prada, Burberry, Ralph Lauren and Chanel.

Tim was promoted to Senior Director, North America in early 2006 and moved to New York to manage Luxottica’s US sales team. Not only would he continue to lead the Canadian sales direction, but Tim also took on the challenge of guiding a US sales force that included over 350 sales professionals.

Tim played a key role in leading Luxottica to record sales and profitability results, while helping to successfully change the culture of the organization throughout North America.

But this is only the beginning of Tim’s story…

On February 4th, 2011 his life changed forever when he was diagnosed with inoperable stage 4 cancer. Over the course of the next year, Tim’s life and the lives of his family and closest friends would be impacted more than they could have ever imagined. However, after an aggressive treatment plan and recovery period, Tim successfully beat cancer!His life has taken a remarkable turn for the better; words like ‘miracle’, ‘incredible’ and ‘amazing’ are being used by medical professionals to describe his recovery.

Tim formed the Great Next Chapter Foundation to assist others in coping with and managing the emotional and mental challenges faced with battling a life-threatening illness. He now sees the opportunity through his foundation to reach out, inspire and motivate those going through the toughest challenges of their life.

As a talented and gifted speaker throughout his career, Tim has spoken at professional forums on a variety of topics that range from business planning and building successful strategic alliances, to sharing his expertise about galvanizing teams to impact and improve their bottom line.

He now speaks to Fortune 500 companies, professional sports teams, high schools, universities, hospitals and foundations about overcoming obstacles, beating the odds and living life to the fullest.

In 2013, Tim was awarded with the prestigious Scotiabank Game Changers Award and in 2014, he was presented with the BMW Hero Award. Over the past 4 years, he has been an Honorary Chairman of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, playing a key role in the Road Hockey To Conquer Cancer event.

A sought-after motivational speaker, leadership, business and brand consultant, Tim McClure holds certifications from the Certified Coaches Federation, Professional Speaker’s Federation and Healthy Wealthy & Wise Corporation. Recently, he was chosen as a keynote speaker for Healthy Minds Canada, and was asked to join TEC Canada as an executive speaker.

Tim is an expert on building strong corporate cultures, developing effective team leadership, forming sustainable strategic alliances, the importance of mental health within the workplace and the effects that it can have on a corporation’s bottom line.

Tim is the Vice President & Managing Partner of Madison MacArthur Inc., and is also on the advisory board of Alive ProStudios Inc.

Tim currently resides in Oakville, Ontario and has 2 daughters, Jaclyn and Jessica.


Director Of Security & Inspiration

Missy plays a very important role on the TMP team!

Aside from her duties taking care of office security, Missy determines who enters the office and who qualifies as a client. She is our head cheerleader in good times, while providing moral support during those rare challenging days that we all have.

Missy also plays a key role in critiquing new material that Tim is proposing to present to his audiences. In fact, she is always the first person to hear his talks prior to him leaving to speak at an engagement.

Just a puppy when Tim was diagnosed with cancer, Missy provided unconditional love and support during some of the darkest days. She remains a loyal friend, and has Tim wrapped around her paws!


Joanne Henry
Corporate Partnerships

Joanne is currently a Global Account Executive with ConferenceDirect – a meeting solutions company. Joanne has over 20 years experience as a Corporate Event and Sponsorship professional with extensive event and project management experience.

Joanne has planned, created and executed hundreds of annual client and employee programs with high profile firms including TD Bank Group, AGF Funds Inc., Toronto Blue Jays and Merrill Lynch Canada. A well respected individual in the event management and hospitality industry, Joanne is known for her strategic and creative approach. Additionally, her exceptional regard for high-quality standards with a fine eye for detail produces legendary experiences. Joanne has managed high profile events including but not limited TD Presents an Evening with Oprah Winfrey and TD Presents Hillary Clinton which are career highlights. While at TD, Joanne founded the TD Event Council uniting over thirty event professionals from across the TDBG organization. This council creates and leads training and best practices initiatives through partnerships with key suppliers and vendors.

She has also served on advisory boards at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Shangri-La Toronto. Passionate about community, Joanne has been a part of programs dedicated to advancing the interests of women and girls in communities-in-need. She is a volunteer for Trust 15 , The Shoebox Project and Rasing the Roof.

Katherine Dilk
Corporate Partnerships

Katherine comes to Tim McClure & Partners with a strong resume, having held many sales, marketing, product and project management roles with organizations such as Starter Corporation and Browne & Co.
Given her solid understanding of many areas within the corporate world, Katherine brings valuable experience building strong client relationships, managing in-depth projects, building strategic programs, and aligning organizations with opportunities to meet their needs.

During her time working with the Starter brand, Katherine played a key role building highly successful programs involving the NHL, NBA, MLB, NFL, CFL, and Hockey Canada. Given her ability to forge strong relationships, Katherine was promoted into a role that saw her handle some of company’s largest corporate partners including Nestle, Labatt, Molson, and Coca Cola.

Tim was very pleased to add Katherine to his dynamic team. Her passion, competiveness, drive, ability, and experience have proven to be a very valuable asset for Tim McClure & Partners.

Katherine resides in Toronto and has a passion for golf, baseball, hockey, photography, and philanthropic causes that allow her to make a difference in people’s lives.

Karen Stewart-McClure
Business Coordinator

Karen is a retired office manager with over 40 years experience in the architectural, construction and automotive industries. She is also the mother of her only son, Tim McClure.

When Tim was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, she did what any parent would do for their child – she was there for him every step of the way. Since his recovery, Karen has taken on a vital role in helping to build the Great Next Chapter Foundation. She takes great pride in the work that the foundation does in helping to assist patients and their families as they go through their own journey dealing with a life-threatening illness.

Karen’s role in Tim’s speaking business is to schedule his engagements, manage all accounting responsibilities and help execute the donations that Tim makes through his speaking endeavors to the various causes that he supports.

Aside from her responsibilities from the business and foundation side, Karen enjoys baking, gardening and spending time with her two granddaughters, Jaclyn and Jessica. She currently resides in Newmarket, Ontario.
